Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

I am not sure why it has taken me so long to make the connection but now that I have I want to say something. I want to thank my father who proudly served in the RCMP and who put his life in danger on a regular basis to keep others safe. Thank him for the horrors he had to see and endure and for what he still sees today all these years later.
Today on this day when we remember all the Veterans who died protecting us in wars past, Lest we not forget those who are or have been overseas, or those walking our streets over the years and right now.
Veterans have and do play many different roles, and we need to remember and support all they have done and do for us daily, and more than just once a year.
So thank you Dad, and thank you to all of you who fight in any way to protect and serve our country.
